We can't figure out why genres like techno remain "underground" despite their worldwide popularity. Thanks to their relentless sound, no one can resist dancing when Acid, Industrial, or Hard Techno is playing. However, there is one special genre that even the most seasoned techno connoisseurs wonder about—and that's Schranz.
"Schranz Core" is the latest addition to our series of sample packs in the aforementioned genre. Although its roots grow from well-known hard techno, what makes this German subgenre of techno so unique? Let's start with the drums, which stand out for their hardness, punch, and energy, even with a minimal set of sounds. Kick drums always play simultaneously with hi-hats, compressed top loops, and multi-layered claps, snares, and percussion. In our sample pack, you will find all of this and more.
The drums are based on samples reminiscent of the legendary 909, but with a modern twist. This way, both fans of 90s techno and modern producers can find sounds they like. As for synths, there is an even greater variety. The sonic paradise you experience when listening to Schranz evokes unique emotions compared to other techno subgenres.
